Check the Help Center first
The Help Center may already have the answer you need.
You can search for help with:
- Connecting or reconnecting an account
- Missing or outdated balances
- Transactions
- Spending categories
- Budgets
- Net worth
- Ranking
- Rankk AI
- Privacy and security
For example, if a bank account stopped updating, start with how to reconnect a financial account.
If the issue continues after following the recommended steps, contact support.
When should you contact support?
Contact Rankk support when:
- You cannot sign in to Rankk
- A connected account will not connect or update
- Your balances or transactions appear incorrect
- An account or transaction appears more than once
- A feature is not working as expected
- Rankk AI is using incorrect information
- You notice an account or activity you do not recognize
- You have a privacy or account-security concern
- You want to report a bug
- You cannot find the answer in the Help Center

When should you contact your financial institution?
Some problems must be handled directly by your bank, credit card company, lender, or investment provider.
Contact your financial institution when you need to:
- Dispute a transaction
- Report a lost or stolen card
- Stop or reverse a payment
- Change your bank password
- Unlock your financial account
- Ask about a declined purchase
- Question an interest charge or bank fee

Rankk cannot cancel, refund, reverse, or dispute a financial transaction.
How to contact Rankk support
Use Rankk’s official contact form to send the support team a message. Enter the email address where you want to receive a reply and describe the issue, then select Send Message.
You can also email support@rankk.me.
Use either method for account, connection, feature, privacy, or general support questions. The support team may reply to the email address you provide and ask for more information.
What information should you include?
Include the details that help explain the issue.
This may include:
- A clear description of what happened
- The feature or page involved
- The name of the financial institution
- The type of account involved
- The date the issue started
- The exact error message
- The result you expected
- The result you received
- The steps you already tried
- The version of the Rankk app, when relevant
- A screenshot, when helpful
For example:
My checking account from Example Bank stopped updating on July 15. Rankk shows “Reconnect required.” I can still sign in through the bank’s app, but reconnecting in Rankk returns “Institution unavailable.”
This gives the support team more useful information than saying only, “My account does not work.”
What should you never send?
Never send Rankk support:
- Your financial institution password
- Your Rankk verification code
- A one-time security code
- Your PIN
- Your complete bank account number
- Your full credit or debit card number
- Your card security code
- Your Social Security number
- Private information that is not needed to explain the issue
Rankk support should not need these details to investigate a normal account or connection issue.
Be careful with screenshots
Screenshots can help explain a problem, but they may also contain private information.
Before sending a screenshot, review it for:
- Account numbers
- Account balances
- Transaction details
- Email addresses
- Personal names
- Financial institution information
- Other private information
Crop or hide anything that is not needed.
Do not cover the error message or feature that support needs to review.
Include the exact error message
When an error appears, copy the message exactly or include it in a screenshot.
For example:
- “Connection unavailable”
- “Account needs attention”
- “Something went wrong”
- “Unable to refresh account”
- “Verification failed”
The exact wording can help support understand where the problem occurred.
Explain what you already tried
Tell support which troubleshooting steps you completed.
For example:
- Closed and reopened Rankk
- Updated the app
- Confirmed the bank login works
- Completed a security request from the bank
- Tried reconnecting the account
- Waited and tried again later
- Checked whether the transaction was pending
- Reviewed the account’s last update
This can prevent support from asking you to repeat steps that did not work.
Reporting a connected-account issue
For problems with a bank, credit card, loan, or investment connection, include:
- The institution’s name
- The account type
- Whether it is a new connection or reconnection
- When the account last updated
- The error message shown
- Whether you can sign in directly through the institution
- Whether other accounts from the same institution still work
Do not send your institution username or password.

Reporting missing or incorrect information
When reporting a missing balance, transaction, or other financial detail, include:
- The connected account
- The information that is missing or incorrect
- The amount shown in Rankk
- The amount you expected
- The date involved
- Whether the transaction is pending or completed
- When the account last updated
Compare the information with your financial institution before contacting support.

Reporting a Rankk AI issue
When a Rankk AI answer appears incorrect, include:
- The question you asked
- The part of the answer that looks wrong
- The account, transaction, amount, or date involved
- What you expected instead
- Whether you corrected the information in a follow-up question
- A screenshot, when helpful
Do not include an entire private conversation when only one part is relevant.

Reporting a bug
A bug is something inside Rankk that does not work as expected.
When reporting a bug, include:
- What you were trying to do
- The steps that caused the issue
- What happened
- What you expected to happen
- Whether the problem happens every time
- Your device type
- Your operating system version, when known
- Your Rankk app version, when known
- A screenshot or screen recording, when helpful
A clear step-by-step report makes the issue easier to reproduce.
For example:
- Open Rankk.
- Go to Connected accounts.
- Select Example Bank.
- Tap Reconnect.
- Complete the bank verification.
- Rankk returns to the same Reconnect screen.
Reporting a privacy or security concern
Contact Rankk support promptly if you notice:
- A connected account you do not recognize
- Financial information belonging to another person
- A verification message you did not request
- An unexpected change to your Rankk account
- A private conversation or shared link that appears exposed
- Another privacy or security issue
If you believe activity at your bank or card account may be unauthorized, contact the financial institution directly as well.

What happens after you contact support?
Rankk support may review the information you provided and ask follow-up questions.
They may need you to:
- Confirm the affected feature
- Provide the exact error message
- Try a specific troubleshooting step
- Confirm whether the problem still happens
- Send a safer screenshot with private details removed
- Update or reconnect an account
Keep the conversation together
When possible, reply through the same support conversation instead of creating several requests about the same issue.
Keeping the information together makes it easier to review:
- The original problem
- Troubleshooting already completed
- Screenshots
- Follow-up questions
- Any changes since the first report
Create a new request when the new issue is unrelated.
