Privacy Policy

Rankk is a consumer financial technology platform that helps you understand your financial picture, including net worth, assets, liabilities, income, spending, cash flow, investments, crypto, and progress over time, and how you compare with relevant peer groups (such as by age and location) using ranking and percentile-style insights. Rankk may also offer AI-assisted insights and guidance based on information you provide or choose to connect.

Rankk is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, credit bureau, or lender. We provide information, analytics, and tools to help you understand your finances. We do not provide banking services, execute trades on your behalf, extend credit, or make lending decisions.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Rankk. When you use the Services, we may collect the following categories of information:

• Information you provide: details you enter in forms, settings, or communications with us, including when you sign up, update your profile, set preferences, or contact support.
• Account and sign-in information: email address, phone number, authentication identifiers, and sign-in method (for example, email, phone, or third-party sign-in providers you choose). We may also collect security-related metadata associated with your account.
• Website early access and OTP information: if you join our early access waitlist on rankk.me, we may collect your email or phone number, verification status, timestamps, and limited metadata needed to send and verify one-time passcodes (OTPs) and prevent abuse. We do not need to retain your full OTP code after verification completes.
• Sweepstakes and Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE) information: if you enter a Rankk giveaway or sweepstakes, including through AMOE, we may collect your name, email address, date of birth or other age-eligibility information, state of residence, email verification information (including OTP delivery and verification status), Sweepstakes entry and referral information (such as entry method, entry counts, referral codes or links, and related qualification records), and winner-administration information where applicable (such as winner notification and prize-fulfillment correspondence). AMOE does not create a Rankk product account by itself.
• Contact, feedback, and support information: if you use our Contact or Feedback pages, we collect your email address (required), an optional Rankk username, category or type, and your message. You may also choose to attach an optional screenshot to help us understand your issue.
• Financial account and transaction information: if you choose to connect financial accounts through Plaid or similar data providers, we may receive account details, balances, transactions, liabilities, investments, and related financial data. Where applicable, connected accounts are accessed in a read-only manner. We do not store your bank login credentials.
• Manual financial information: if you choose to add information manually, we may collect assets, liabilities, valuables, vehicles, property, or other financial details you enter.
• Crypto wallet and blockchain information: if you connect crypto wallets or provide wallet or account identifiers, we may receive read-only portfolio or balance information from blockchain data providers. Availability may vary by wallet, network, or provider. Rankk will never ask for your crypto wallet seed phrase, private key, or recovery phrase. Do not enter or send that information to Rankk.
• Profile, demographics, ranking, and visibility information: name, age, general location, username, avatar, and privacy or visibility preferences you set. We may also process information used to generate rankings, percentiles, comparisons, and related insights.
• AI assistant and product interaction information: prompts, questions, responses, feature usage, and feedback related to AI-assisted features, when you choose to use them.
• Device, usage, analytics, and log information: device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, general location derived from IP, pages or screens viewed, referring URLs, crash reports, diagnostic logs, and similar technical data.
• Cookies and local storage: on rankk.me, we use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, and analytics. Optional first-party landing attribution cookies are used only when you Allow them via Privacy choices. See our Cookie Policy for cookie names, retention, and how to change your choice.

Website early access leads and website contact/feedback submissions are generally stored separately from Rankk app authentication users and in-app profiles unless and until you create or link a Rankk account.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
• Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and deliver features you request or enable.
• Process early access sign-ups, send and verify OTPs, and respond to contact, feedback, and support requests.
• Administer giveaways and sweepstakes, verify eligibility, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, contact potential winners, and handle related prize administration.
• Display financial analytics, net worth, rankings, percentiles, comparisons, goals, and personalized insights.
• Power AI-assisted features, including generating responses and insights based on information you provide or connect.
• Personalize your experience, including content, comparisons, and product recommendations within the Services.
• Maintain security, detect fraud and abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect users and Rankk.
• Conduct analytics, research, and product development, including using de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized data for benchmarking, ranking models, and business purposes.
• Communicate with you about the Services, including transactional, security, and Sweepstakes-administration messages where appropriate, and Rankk product updates, announcements, offers, and other promotional emails where permitted.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Financial information is sensitive. You choose whether to connect financial accounts, add manual entries, connect crypto wallets, or provide optional profile and demographic information. The more information you provide, the more personalized your experience may be, but you are not required to connect every data source to use Rankk.

When you connect financial institutions through third-party data providers, we generally receive data in a read-only manner where applicable. Rankk cannot move money from your connected accounts. We do not store your bank login credentials. You may disconnect linked financial accounts within the Services where that option is supported.

Rankk will never ask for your crypto wallet seed phrase, private key, or recovery phrase. Do not enter or send that information to Rankk.

Rankings, percentiles, comparisons, and similar insights may be personalized using your financial data, profile and demographic inputs (such as age and general location), and your activity within the Services. These insights are informational and may not reflect complete or real-time data from every source.

If you use AI-assisted features, Rankk may process user-provided and connected financial data to generate responses and insights. Do not submit information you do not want processed, including highly sensitive personal details unrelated to your use of Rankk. AI outputs are for informational purposes and are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: with vendors that help us operate the Services, as described in the Service providers section below.
• Legal and safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Rankk, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and notice where required by law.
• Aggregated or de-identified data: we may use or share de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized information that does not reasonably identify you for analytics, benchmarking, ranking models, product improvement, and other business purposes.

Optional screenshots submitted through contact or feedback are stored in a private storage bucket. They may be shared only through temporary signed links in internal support and feedback workflows (for example, in emails to our team). Website waitlist and support submissions remain separate from app accounts unless you create or link a Rankk account.

We use trusted third-party providers to help us operate the Services. They process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services. Categories of providers we may use include:

• Hosting, deployment, and infrastructure: to run and deliver the website and app.
• Database, authentication, storage, and backend services: to store data, manage accounts, and support core product functionality.
• Financial account-linking and data aggregation providers: such as Plaid or similar providers, to support account linking and read-only financial account data (including balances, transactions, liabilities, and investments) when you choose to connect accounts.
• Blockchain data providers: to support read-only crypto portfolio or wallet balance data when you choose to connect wallets.
• Email, phone, and messaging providers: to send OTPs, transactional messages, and support or feedback notifications.
• Payment and subscription infrastructure: if you purchase a paid subscription through Rankk.
• Analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention, security, and support tools: to understand usage, improve reliability, protect the Services, and assist with customer support.

These providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Their use of information is also governed by their own privacy policies and agreements with Rankk.

You have choices about your information, including:

• Account and profile settings: update or delete certain profile information and adjust privacy or visibility preferences where available in the app.
• Connected accounts: choose whether to link financial or crypto accounts, and disconnect them where supported in the Services.
• Optional data: you may decline to provide optional fields (such as a username on contact/feedback forms or optional screenshots).
• Marketing communications: you may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe or preferences links we provide. Opting out of marketing does not cancel or invalidate a Sweepstakes entry. Rankk may still send transactional, security, or Sweepstakes-administration communications where appropriate. Existing email suppression and unsubscribe records remain authoritative for promotional sends.
• Cookies and local storage: manage cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings. For optional first-party landing attribution on rankk.me, use Privacy choices in the site footer (or the banner when no choice is stored yet). See our Cookie Policy.
• Privacy requests: contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain information, subject to applicable law and our need to retain data for legitimate business or legal purposes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Please use a strong password, enable available security features, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and how it is used.

For example, we may retain early access and OTP-related data while operating the waitlist and communicating with you; support and feedback submissions for handling your request and improving the Services; and account and financial data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@rankk.me and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to know what we collect, request access or deletion, correct inaccurate information, or opt out of certain processing (including, where applicable, the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising).

We do not sell your personal information. To exercise rights that may apply to you, contact support@rankk.me. We may need to verify your request and may decline requests where an exception applies under applicable law.

Rankk is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on rankk.me and update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
