1. Open the Rankk app
Open Rankk and sign in to your account.
Do not have the app yet? Download Rankk.
2. Select Add account
Open the connected accounts section and select Add account or Connect account.
You will see a list of available banks, credit card companies, lenders, and investment providers.
3. Find your financial institution
Search for the financial institution you want to connect.
- Checking accounts
- Savings accounts
- Credit cards
- Loans
- Investment accounts
- Retirement accounts
For example, you could connect a checking account from one bank, a credit card from another bank, and an investment account from a separate provider.

4. Sign in through Plaid or your financial institution
After selecting your institution, a secure connection window will open. Depending on the institution, you may sign in through Plaid or through a connection page provided directly by your financial institution.
You may be asked to:
- Enter your financial institution login information
- Confirm your identity
- Enter a one-time verification code
- Approve access to your account information
- Complete an additional security step

5. Choose the accounts you want to include
One financial institution login may include several accounts. For example, your bank login may include a checking account, savings account, and credit card.
Select the accounts you want Rankk to include, then complete the connection. You do not have to connect every account shown.
6. Wait for your financial information to appear
After the connection is complete, Rankk will begin receiving and organizing the available information. Account balances may appear first. Transactions, investments, loans, and other details may take longer to finish loading.

Repeat these steps to connect accounts from other financial institutions. Connecting more of your financial life gives Rankk a more complete picture, which can make your balances, spending totals, monthly budgets, financial forecasts, rankings, insights, and Rankk AI answers more useful.

Having trouble connecting an account?
- Make sure your login information is correct.
- Complete any verification or security request from your institution.
- Check whether your institution is having a temporary outage.
- Wait a few minutes, then try connecting again.
